People’s Square

August 19, 2011 § 2 Comments

Yesterday after school we went and got some ramen noodles, then we headed to People’s Square to see what kind of fun they had. We took the metro to People’s Square station, and seriously, that station must be the biggest metro station I have ever seen in my life! It had 20 exists!

This is one of the exists. They built this place in a old fashioned way, a kind of cool way to look back at the old days and see how the streets were build. I even took a picture with a old tramp model!

And I found MAC at a shopping mall called Raffles City. There you can find almost all kinds of world brands, such as Bobbi Brown, Kiels, French Connection and Miss Sixty! I bought a brush cleanser and a cleanser from MAC. They didn’t have the original cleanser so I had to buy the Lightful selection of cleanser. Let us see if it does make your complexion lighter! After the shopping I went home, took a quick nap and strolled to the gym. I must say that working out in Shanghai is maybe ten times more effective than in Oslo. The indoor temperature at the gym isn’t the same as in “normal” gym, here you sweat like a gigantic pig. And I mean it! After about an hour we thought that this was enough. We strolled back home, and on the way we met some friends from class. They stood at a fast food kiosk, ordering some chow fan and some grilled chicken. The food looked so delicious so I ordered this one here, chow mein for only 5RMB! Heaven! xx
