christmas dinners

Since it’s Christmas, and since Christmas dinners (julebord) are traditions in the Norwegian culture, I have been to maybe three different dinners with my classmates during the last three weeks. The first one we went to was at the Pearl Tower, there we got served buffet, which in my taste was alright. But it was fun that we managed to create an event where the whole class would attend all together.

This is the dinner where the organization Klubb Norge arranged for us at a hotel call East Asia Regal Hotel at the French Concession. The dinner was quite expensive, but a good way to receive some traditional Norwegian Christmas meal and a good opportunity to meet other Norwegians that are both working or studying abroad in China. (Oh God, I look fat>.<)

And oh, I’ve decided that maybe I should start wearing some more colors on my lips! It looks good, does it? Anyways, that day went to attending this presentation with Norwegian Business Association at a hotel near the Bund, and after the presentation there were dinner, buffet dinner. Hmm.. the dessert was best though.

Christmas tree! And we have been eating the whole evening ever since we arrived in Hong Kong! It’s crazy, the food here is much better than the food we get in Shanghai! Ohhh how I love Hong Kong. Off to bed, have a long day tomorrow! Good night, sweeties! And thank you for checking in although I have been absent! xxx
